This is it!  The week we have been waiting for…  Buyers, brands, media, press, and other intimate apparel professionals are kicking off the week in Las Vegas for the bi-annual Curve NV lingerie trade show.  This season’s edition is being held at The Venetian in Las Vegas.  By the end of the week, everyone will converge in New York City for the Curve NY show at Jacob Javits from February 24th through the 26th as well as The Lingerie Collective trade show and the world’s first fashion week dedicated to the intimate apparel industry, LingerieFW™.

Here are additional details:

Introducing LingerieFW™: the first Fashion Week dedicated exclusively to the intimate apparel industry.  Lingerie Fashion Week will make its debut coinciding with the industry’s tradeshows, showcasing FW13 collections on Friday February 22nd & Saturday the 23rd at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York City.  Six brands will show collections at LingerieFW™ this season: global powerhouse Affinitas & Parfait, luxuriously erotic FYI by Dani Read, unconventional NaïS, sultry Nevaeh Intimates, provocative Rouge Séduire and effortless Uye Surana.

Throughout the Intimate Affair, the Gallery plays host to guest check-in as well as “The Boudoir” Sponsor Lounge, featuring a Press lounge with plug-in station hosted by industry Media Partners The Lingerie Journal and CRÉATIONS, SmartWater lounge, Dry Bar from LingerieFW™ Official Hair/Makeup Partner The Temple, a Paul Mitchell Partner School and more.  Not only will The Temple be pampering guests in the Sponsor Lounge with complementary styling throughout the shows, but will be creating all of the hair & makeup looks for showcasing designers backstage in collaboration with MAT, Advanced Makeup Education at The Temple and Ultimate Face Cosmetics.  Ultimate Face, The Temple, SmartWater, ZICO: Pure Coconut Water, PopChips, Smolder Perfume, Soak Wash and The Lingerie Alliance have all generously donated product to the LingerieFW™ Official Gift Bag, to be on display in the Sponsor Lounge Gift Suite.  Cayrum, Frederick Wildman & Co and Bruce Cost Ginger Ale have also signed on to sponsor the LingerieFW™ Official Closing Party on Saturday, February 23rd.

The Lingerie Collective’s New York debut trade show will take place from February 24 – 26, 2013 at Studio 320 – a fabulous white space in the heart of Manhattan which has played host to an array of luxury designers and brands. The first NYC show will be a boutique event with a hand selected mix of luxury independent brands from both the U.K. and U.S. providing an opportunity for designers to showcase their AW13 collections to buyers and press.
