Silk Color Selections for Fall 2014

I could go into a poetic interlude on the importance of silk in a lingerie library, but I’ll save that for another time.  I am currently more focused on where to source it, given the recent demise of several resources known for their rather well-priced assortment of this luxury fiber.  In fact, in the past several weeks, I have had several retail buyer inquiries asking me if I might have any ideas.  So I will make this short and sweet: Gold Hawk Lingerie.  I discovered this west coast brand several years back but then they were gone.  Back at Curve several weeks ago with a much more developed intimates focus, their timing could not have been better.  Offering several collections at great value in sizes XS – L, these pieces cover many of the essential bodies intrinsic to intimate assortments.  But it’s the modern color combination of the lace and silk essentials that got my attention: 10 for fall and 18 for spring.  We won’t discuss the bridal opportunity here now: that’s an entirely other treasure trove.
