A Welcome Distraction ~ L’Agent by Agent Provocateur

Kaity by L'Agent by AP on Lingerie Briefs

When you live someplace, no matter how beautiful, life happens and paradise retreats to make room for day to day problems and the frustrations that seem to grow exponentially. Residing here semi-permanently changes perspective. Yes to beaches at our fingertips, margaritas on the sand, horseback riding daily and vistas that go on forever. No to water problems, which are mega this year here in Cabo, a daily dance we have been doing to insure proper flow to our homes and avoid paying for special H2O deliveries. Today, I am not a happy camper. The cistern (water tank) is empty, no one can figure out why, and the pump is not behaving. Everyone offers to help, and no one appears to actually do the deed. The Mexican manana attitude could mean this situation will last several days. Usually I go with the flow, but there is none right now, so I am distracted. When this happens to me, I generally spend a lot of time searching for visual relief. Photoshop is my partner and the archives of images collected over time become a treasure chest of escape.

Lucky today, I decided to dig into my L’Agent by Agent Provocateur file. I’ve wanted to explore this brand for quite a while, but this blog is about the assimilation of Intimate Apparel into my daily life and let’s face it, wish that I could, I was and will never be able to wear this visually delicious, provocative lingerie. But now, I have found my connection. The styles are so alluring, the details so dynamic and the price so enticing; it’s hard to look away. That is exactly what the Cruz sisters (Penelope & Monica) intended when they partnered with Agent Provocateur to create the L’Agent by AP diffusion brand. Fitting 32-36, A-E, the collection is recognized not only for its seductive designs, but also for its excellent engineering. It confirms why lingerie is such a precious commodity; how it compels us beyond the mundane and raises our state of mind to a place of fantasy. For me it might be a pipe-dream, but its artistry is a wonderful distraction from a nightmare day.
