How to Capture the Minds and Hearts of People by Promoting Beauty through Lingerie

I Embrace the view…of educating our American Women into a healthier way of viewing themselves. We together

As a team, united by the wonderful ideals and reality of how we live on and with our Planet and with our fellow Beings…as a project of healing…That we could undertake together…..what makes people happy day to day .

…..what an amazing message we could deliver….

When Women are kind to and happy with themselves ….they are kind to those around them…when they are kind to those around them, the people are kind in return.

When Women Receive kindness from others…they feel Good about themselves hence my favorite…term. . . . . .
“The Circle of Loving Kindness”

Our business focus is to provide jobs to as many people as we possibly can.  The heart of our purpose is to do things for the highest good of all beings.

Bennett and Company’s Unified Mission and goals of Doing all Things
for the Highest Good of All Beings….

People don’t hurt each other when they are happy and feel good about themselves and others.

“Women Owned Business”

March 9, 2012

By Jacalyn Bennett

When I started Bennett and Company in 1989, it was with a vision to understand and fulfill the needs of a woman’s demanding lifestyle through the design and manufacture of beautiful, unique, and affordable lingerie, which is nourishing to the soul.  I built Bennett and Company with a corporate philosophy that embraces ecology, human rights, and social responsibly.

Teaching a woman the skill of sewing helps her to be a contributor and participate in the sustainability of supporting her family as well as a role model in her community.  Teaching a woman the craft of operating a sewing machine is likened to giving a man a fishing rod, both parties can develop their own equal respect and dignity which becomes the heart of any thriving and resilient community.  I also wanted to create a platform for all of my team members to discover who they are in the world and how their individual creative contribution plays an imperative part in our company’s success thus creating a positive ripple effect in the world around us.

In May 2010, the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council in partnership with the Center for Women and Enterprise recognized Jacalyn E.S. Bennett and Company as a Women’s Business Enterprise and awarded them with national certification.

Peace, Love, Lace & Lingerie

February 10, 2012

On this Valentine’s Day, please be good to yourself.    As the old adage says, home is where the heart is, and our hearts start with us.

Why do we not cherish ourselves?  Why, if we are not having a date with our boyfriend, lover, fiancé, husband, do we just wear that old bra and panties that no one else will see?  You are someone, and you must believe in yourself.  If you don’t take care of yourself, no one else will.  If that means buying yourself a nice piece of lingerie at Victoria’s Secret or Soma, please do so.  You are a deserving child of this exquisite universe, where every moment of every day is special and should be celebrated.  There are … Read more

Loved this story about loving oneself. It is true. Moreover, being true to oneself is one of the best ways to avoid the seduction of commercialism driven by an obsessive media.

Raise Awareness

January 13, 2012

by Jacalyn Bennett

This is all about living and working conscientiously in the world.

My inspiration to start a company was to create a safe and healthy space for people to work in and to show that one didn’t need to be harsh to employees or the environment to be successful in business.

When I started working in the Garment Industry over 30 years ago, I began actualizing my dream to create beautiful garments for women in a Socially and Environmentally responsible way.  I was at home working in Asia in the garment factories, guiding and teaching the cutters and stitchers how to actualize the beautiful designs I created for the American customer.  It was evident to me, through my many years of hard work, that I could create … Read more

Isn't it refreshing to read about a woman who is passionate about fulfilling her destiny, creating service and jobs for people all over the world, is committed to being aware of the impact of her company on the environment, and brings a deep sense of respect by teaching females to love themselves through style and appreciating their beauty. In a world of masculine competitiveness, Jacalyn Bennett has got to be one of the world's leading examples for everyone on how to follow your dream, work hard, empower people, and remember the values that are really important in life. If she wasn't such a brilliant designer loved by women around the world for what she makes, she should just go around the corporate world so people would be entranced by the values that are the basis of her creating her very successful company. She not only sets trends in gorgeous lingerie, she is a powerful leader in setting new standards for how people could relate to each other in the service of making money. If you want a dynamic spokesperson for win win growth in your business world, listen to Ms Bennett's heart and message. Whoever heard of Lingerie with Conscience ? Are you kidding ? She is the kind of creator and competitor you love to support.
