Instead of New Year’s resolutions, how about making Pleasure Intentions? I’ll invite you to explore how you can increase, expand and discover your pleasure in 2013 by setting intentions for yourself. Pleasure intentions are for you, they are not about pleasing your partner, nor are they to be something that causes any stress or anxiety. They are realistic intentions around adding more pleasure to your life. So let’s start off with what pleasure could mean, browse through examples of pleasure intentions and feel free to take anything that resonates or tempts you.
It is my intention to:
Pamper myself at my favorite spa and treat myself to a relaxing massage, a body scrub and a facial.
Book a vacation with my beloved to a tropical paradise, like Bali and just unplug from reality for an entire week or two.
Learn to play an instrument, sign up for lessons and explore my love of music.
Sign up those S-Factor pole dancing classes, to learn how to be more sensual in my body.
Read one erotic novel a month, to expand my erotic creativity.
Go to see one or two of my favorite bands perform live in concert.
Take bubble baths by candle light, with my favorite music playing.
Sleep 8 hours a night, take naps on the weekend, sleep in when I can.
Get outdoors and ride my bike, go for a run or join a group sport. Feel the strength of my body and get active by myself or with friends.
Take myself out on dates, a day at the museum of sex, a romantic foreign film or treat myself to my favorite dessert.
Go dancing, shake my booty and get down at a 5 Rhythms dance class.
Now, it’s your turn. What do you intend to do, to increase your pleasure this year?
