It is Thanksgiving this week in the United States. We will celebrate a tradition that commemorates the spirit of survival and congeniality demonstrated by the Pilgrims and the Native Americans at the first Thanksgiving. Even though this may not be the best of economic times in America, by examining our history, we can understand a broader picture and acknowledge what we have.
