Lingerie Briefs ~ by Ellen Lewis

Seductive Form ~ Blush Lingerie

I have always had a certain affinity for the photographic arts.  I am fascinated with the method.   Realism is transposed into thought by the  photographers use of color or the lack of it to capture the essence of an object, a moment or an idea.   In particular, I am drawn to the art of black and white imagery.   It has a way of needling in on details, forcing the eye to absorb the subject for what it is, absenting it from any superfluous distractions. To me, it is a more dramatic expression of the photographer’s vision.  It is because of this, that I find these pictures to be such a seductive form of exposing the soul of a piece of lingerie.  One of the best examples of this aesthetic marketing tool is Blush Lingerie’s life style photos of some of their sensual and enduring intimates. In this rendering of the the Naked Envy bodysuit, shown here in bridal white, but already a bestseller in black, shadow and light create a subtly seductive mood.  The provocative message is held quietly at bay raising the reflection of this delicate lingerie to a level of private beauty.
