I went to my friend Gale’s farm yesterday. I was in dire need of a “horse fix”. Leaving the greyed out light of my Connecticut apartment complex and the damp city streets, I was expecting the temperatures to be colder, but I didn’t care. I needed the comfort of space and the clarity of purpose that equine activity always delivers. But, as I drove inland, the real surprise was the white dusting that coated the bare winter branches forming an eloquent gossamer web across the skyline. Even though it was 20 + degrees and the snowy ground cover was 3” deep, I immediately felt lifted from the everyday ministrations that have commandeered my life. And of course, nothing is as luxurious as a horse’s soft muzzle gently nuzzling my face.
Perhaps you might find my comparison of On Gossamer’s Sheer Bliss spacer t-shirt bra, delivering as I write, a bit uncanny. It was the delicate lacey patterns feathering the woods surrounding the open pastures that reminded me of the exclusive Italian mesh that is part of the construction of this as well as every On Gossamer bra. This seamless spacer, the first of On Gossamer’s spring 2014 debut of their “Light and Airy” branding statement, is beautifully detailed with its signature center gore twist and rose gold findings. Available in 32-38, A-D cups, it promises a woman an sensual and intimate embrace. It’s all about the feeling.
“Snow was falling,
so much like stars
filling the dark trees
that one could easily imagine
its reason for being was nothing more
than prettiness.”
~Mary Oliver
