Paris Bound ~ Wacoal On Board

I am leaving today for Paris. I will be attending the Salon De Lingerie and Interfilѐre semiannual shows where I will be ensconced daily in beautiful lingerie, innovative fabrics and fashion direction. It’s a heavy dose of inspiration. Packing for this trip is always a challenge: weather, events, long days on my feet (ie: comfort), and the flight (more comfort). What to wear pales for me in the face of what bras I will carry and for what purpose. I know this conundrum is somewhat of a mystery to many. But I guarantee my full busted compatriots know exactly what I am thinking.

Let’s start with the flight: a 12 hour ordeal, departure to arrival. Add to this the additional time shopping the stores before checking in and we are speaking of a 24 hour bra. I am wearing my Wacoal Basic Beauty Spacer which has passed muster previously en-route to Cabo. Frankly speaking, I am more prone to cut and sew styles because they usually lift and support better. I find that many t-shirt bras eventually succumb to gravity. But this design, perhaps because of the light, spacer fabric, inner cup slings and the u back construction is a workhorse. Available 32-44, C-G cups, it’s not sexy or revolutionary but it is definitely dependable. Believe me, I have some beautiful bras in my wardrobe from Wacoal, as well as a bevy of gorgeous designs from fabulous brands, but I find that when it comes to a “no brainer” fit solution, this style always rises to the top of my suitcase.
