Live From Paris ~ Lise Charmel Opens Flagship Store

Lcharmel

It was a rainy, cold day today in Paris, not much for walking. I preempted my visits to the usual stores, simply because how many more sale styles did I need to see? Instead, I stopped by the new Lise Charmel flagship store at 7 Rue du Cherche-Midi, whose main floor opened just one month ago.

I met the hardworking staff and the lovely Laila Chelot, manager of this little jewel of a shop. They were stocking fixtures as we spoke. Located in the Left Bank, Lise Charmel has built a showcase for all 5 of its diverse brands: Lise Charmel, Eprise, Epure, Antigel and Antinea. Each label, addressing a specific lifestyle, is beautifully displayed. I find the French approach to branded boutiques, particularly in the world of Lingerie to be quite intriguing.

It’s a formula that does not exist in the USA. Is it a testimony to the French adulation of fine intimates that a single corporation’s product can drive an entire inventory. After all, in America, this concept exists in many other product channels. Tomorrow, the Salon International de la Lingerie begins. The French brands will be major players. Let’s see why they are so renown for Intimate design.
