Having arrived in Cabo after a long drawn out expedition here last Friday, I have been re-thinking my perspective on travel. There was a time when leaving home to discover new cultures was a major focus for me. Maybe it’s my age, although I doubt it. I suspect it’s the headaches of flying, the time consumption and discomfort required to deal with the airlines. It’s easier to find an interesting piece of paradise and settle for a while. Besides, the internet has blurred boundaries so irrevocably that one can depend heartily on technology to bring virtual reality to the doorstep. OK, perhaps not exactly the same experience, but in the course of my lifetime, I have been to many foreign places and frankly, I have become slightly inured to the whole sightseeing process.
So, imagine how serendipitous it was to see Commando’s 2016 travel log so vividly executed on their signature panties. True to their spirit of innovation, they have re-invented a tried and true underwear essential using digital printing technology to bring the experience home. These are photo realistic art with international attitude. Just one more souvenir from the Commando journey to lingerie excellence proves that vision is merely a matter of design.

But In Having New Eyes” ~Marcel Proust
