Besides my love of the Ocean, the desert has taught me another type of tranquility. It’s why I was so enamored with New Mexico when I visited there in the quest for an alternative lifestyle. In Cabo, I have access to both. But I have to admit, the Southwest United States holds a mystique all its own; familiar and relaxed with a culture grounded in the very essence of our country’s history. A combination of sun bleached vistas, bold colors and open space, this is a geography that saturates the senses. One could be free here of everyday noise.
