What is Sexy? Ask Implicite Lingerie

By ELLEN LEWIS

A few weeks ago, I was having a lingerie product conversation with my colleague, Adrienne Coléon Gaskell, Director of Communications for Simone Pérèle and sister brand Implicite US. In our discussion about the Implicite brand, she asked me a rhetorical question: What is sexy?  To quote her: “not the lingerie itself, but rather the conversation between the lingerie and the person who wears it”. What a woman chooses to reveal or not to reveal and how she reveals it is a personal choice. How she “plays” with it is empowering. French women have always approached lingerie with this attitude

We were engaged in this discourse because, finally, Implicite was launching in the USA. I, who have followed them since they were born in Paris in 2007, am particularly excited about the introduction of this chic French brand that makes no apologies for its seductive design aesthetic. The collections, designed by Verity Balzan, are infused with the glamour of the catwalk and the mystique of the French street scene. Imbued with a younger, fresher look, they are best defined as ‘wearable sexy’ for 30-40, A-E cups.  The modern American woman can slip on her Implicite lingerie, throw on a pair of blue jeans, put on her puffy coat and pick up her kids at school. The real mystery lies within.  She is always ready for whatever the moment brings. Visit Implicite Lingerie’s US eBoutique at www.implicite-lingerie.com
