Lingerie Briefs ~ by Ellen Lewis

Clothes Have No Gender

Photographed by BECKY YEE

The absence of gender rules for men and women building fashion wardrobes has finally permeated social norms. Lingerie, initially defined by uber feminine details, has evolved. First simplicity entered the design landscape: easy, clean styles often described as unisex. Then lace made an entrance into men’s underwear design. Acceptance of diversity has thankfully made headways in our culture. Inclusivity is a common denominator. This month Becky gathered several models who represent different lifestyle choices and body images to photograph this Lingerie Briefs Editorial: Clothes Have No Gender. Meet Kelly Crawford, Issaac Garcia and Nikolay who gracefully agreed to this photoshoot. And, thanks to Commando, Chantelle, Vienne Milano Legwear, Isa Belle, Tom Boy X, and Pono Jewelry for contributing to this story. (Featured Above: Isa Belle, Chantelle, Vienne Milano)
