Some years ago, before the Curve Show existed, I met a brand at a Lingerie trade show whose booth was packed with buyers. Their product? Lace trimmed silk camisoles in a rainbow of colors. The concept was suiting camisoles or how to feminize buttoned up work attire. Dress codes were slightly more stayed in those days and these camis were a welcome relief. The brand, whose name I can’t even remember, is long gone. But the idea is still on point albeit I believe women would be styling those camisoles very differently today. So, imagine my delight when I discovered the Australian silk brand, Sainted Sisters.
Sainted Sisters supplies an entire range of silk lingerie but for my purposes, I am focused on their Scarlett camisole and chemise collection. Designed with an applique eyelash lace that continues around the entire hemline and bodice, this is an elegant layering piece or a stand alone style. Available in a wide spectrum of solids and prints (there are 36 choices on the website), Scarlett is sized XS-XL. I know this company, a long-standing producer of gorgeous intimates.
