Petite busted women are often bra challenged. There seems to be little choice for their particular frames and yet there are options available to them. I am not sure why because there are a boatload of women in this channel whose lingerie desires are misunderstood. Becky and I decided to focus on brands that ‘get it’ and cater to their sizes. This was an empowering moment for our models, Fatou, Olivia and Tenny. They were stunned by the choices we gave them.

As for me, I learned something new while working with Becky (a petite woman herself) in order to organize this photo editorial. I had a preconceived notion that petite bras were for tiny (small in stature) women. But the models who participated in this shoot were 5’3” to 6” tall, albeit all A or B cups, Actually Olivia and Fatou had no idea of their size as they had never before worn a bra, except a sports bra. Why? They assumed that nothing would ever fit them. So, kudos to the brands that supported us here: Timpa, The Little Bra Company, Dominique, Little Women and Ivy Swimwear. We gave them all an ‘Ah Ha’ moment.
