This is why I am highlighting the work of Nomi Ellenson. Nomi reached out to me recently with her portfolio. I was struck by her personal take on the images, particularly the proud feminine sensibility. It was not a surprise when I learned that she had been raised in her family’s Lingerie business (Towne Shop in NYC). Merging her passion for photography and her lingerie DNA was an obvious goal. After extensive studies in the field and time served as a social media photographer for NYFW/IMG, Getty entertainment and Hearst, she opened her own fashion and boudoir studio in 2015. Nomi’s touch, the fearless, the sensual and the somewhat tongue and cheek, has helped to expand the horizon of boudoir art beyond the obvious. Male or female, it’s a gift.
