I love the Northeast in the summer. Everything is so green. The contrast with the desert creates real balance to my life. But, it was hot as Hades here this week-end and my air-conditioner broke. So when my husband, who is still in Cabo recounted his glorious day at the beach Saturday, I was not a happy camper. I am pining for that Mexican ocean. No offense, but the Connecticut shoreline, pretty as it is to look at, does not compare. My solution is to immerse myself in beach dreaming by culling through my swimwear files. After all the 2018 Swim season is imminent. The Miami shows begin next week and anyway, I forgot to get my town beach pass. Perhaps the humidity is making me cranky.
One brand that has already reported in, Jolidon and their premier Prelude line is highlighted below. This 25 year old Romanian company, a global Lingerie and Swimwear force has only recently dipped its toes into the North American market. Well known in the industry for its excellent quality, beautiful fabrics and premium trims, the swim collections have expanded from the tried and true Jolidon assortments to include new channels Cruise, Clandestine and Joliform. With these 4 groupings, the brand appeals to classic, audacious and larger size women. Add in the Prelude collection for sexy bling and the presentation is too broad to ignore. I haven’t seen it in the flesh yet, but at least the images provide some relief.
