Lingerie Briefs ~ by Ellen Lewis

Reflections on an Autumn Wedding

By ELLEN LEWIS

It’s definitely autumn in the Northeast: chilly nights, sun stroked days, rainy interventions, pumpkins and chrysanthemums everywhere. If I were getting married again, it would be my pick of the seasons for a wedding.  One of the most memorable affairs I ever attended was held in a lodge in the Adirondack Mountains on Columbus Day. The foliage was in full rapture, the lake doubled the beauty as it reflected back a firestorm of color. The bride was an elegant focus point on a glorious fall day. What kind of lingerie might have fit her taste?

Bridal Lingerie is never a focal point of Fall Lingerie Collections except by those brands whose core business reflects the category. But as I gathered images for this Gallery review, it became apparent that  bridal lingerie remains a quiet staple in many inventories. I had a difficult time editing my choices.
