Meet Elena Romero, a graphic and textile designer, whose unique artistic language fascinates the imagination. Exceptional is Elena’s poetry in paint, with the elegant dance of floral blooms, ripened color palette, intricately shaped strokes, and lakes of watercolor reflecting the sunset.

“My creative process always starts with a question, which is followed by the search for information and reference material…then paper and pencil…something always comes up. I am inspired by a walk in the countryside, a painting in a museum, a good book, a song, a talk with my children,” says Elena.

Elena was born and raised in sunkissed Sevilla, Spain. For as long as she could remember, Elena immersed herself in the artistry of the craft. “My parents always encouraged the development of my artistic talent. They let me paint on the windows, decorate the curtains and my clothes. In abundance were painting materials, books, and good training,” says Elena.

After completing a degree in advertising and public relations as well as a master’s degree in visual design in Milan, Elena has chosen a path of the graphic and print designer – something that has always attracted her, as it combined elements of design, craft, painting, technology, and fashion.

In addition to her noteworthy custom designs, Elena displays her exquisite collections of prints on her website, which is an art gallery of floral fields waiting to be printed onto fluid kimonos, romantic chemises, picturesque boudoir ensembles, and making-a-splash swimsuits.

Attending fairs such as Interfiliere or Première Vision allows the artist to immerse into cross-culturalism by meeting clients and colleagues from all over the world. “With existing technology, distances are shortened and opportunities are multiplied exponentially,” shares Elena.
