It’s that time again, several days after mining the trade shows and 678 pictures taken, to give you a heads up on who and what we saw for the Spring 2024 season. I am starting here with Evolution, honestly because it is a smaller venue with less editing required. I need the weekend to cull together the Curve overview.
Evolution is a lovely show; intimate, friendly, and elegantly presented. It’s a great space for smaller boutique brands because they garner total attention. There are no big bra brands soaking up the buyers focus. Many of the same labels reappear each season but because they are small, often the products remain the same. I am not covering them here as I have already showcased them in February. I saw some very interesting pieces of Lingerie. Mary Jo Bruno, a lingerie maven who took a break for personal reasons is back. Murmur is now under the auspices of Samantha Chang’s showroom. There was less to see which lets me show more from each vendor. Here is a taste. (Huit at Top)
