Market Highlights~NY Evolution Concepts Show A/W 2023

Evolution Concepts is a boutique lingerie show that runs in tandem with Curve (more about that in a few days). It is a market gem, intimate and engaging held in a NYC studio loft confined to brands who prefer this open space environment to showcase their lines. It’s very focused. Both the buyers and brands enjoy the vibe. Although, as do I, many of us wish that the two shows were in one place. It’s just easier to navigate.

Evolution captured, in a capsule version, many of the trends I found at Curve as well as in Paris. The major difference between NY and Paris resides in the focus on casual comfort, an American attitude towards laid back charm. But of course, provocative, pretty intimates still hold their own and have emerged this season to embrace feminine power rather than pure sexual allure. I will elaborate on this later this week in our Curve NY recap. In the meantime, here are some highlights from the Evolution Concepts Show.
