If I were to say just one word about the Salon International de la Lingerie, it would be Bodysuits. But of course, there were a few other insights that emerged as I walked the show and touched base at Interfilière. Exquisite Embroideries, Creative Cutouts, Light Laces, Sparkle and Shine, and Compelling Colors. I was intrigued by the abundance of Swimwear at the Fall show, particularly crossover styles. And of course, I found a few interesting brands: Luuna Mine from Shanghai (check them out in The Lingerie Briefs Salon at Curve NY) as well as Esquisse from France.
Color and Prints of course are always my guiding light. Green prevailed, all shades. Purple and Spicy tones, and Pink and Reds (hard to capture on my phone). Always Blue and Black, in particular, blue, and black combined. But it was the courageous juxtaposition of opposing colors and tones that made it all new. I could go on about layering, loungewear, warmwear, wellness, and seduction, which were all represented in their various forms. Certainly, Jos Berry’s 2025/ 26 forecast presentation is always valuable. There was much more on which to focus but I had only 2 days as I was invited to the MEY headquarters in Germany and had to depart. I still managed to cover a lot. I think the images below speak for themselves.
