I absolutely adore both the Matilda bra and holiday inspired lingerie, so I was thrilled to see that Elomi is releasing a Valentine’s Day themed version of their popular unlined bra. Many companies have been focusing heavily on basics and continuity colors this year due to the pandemic, so it’s nice to see something fun and flirty as a change of pace.
Matilda is one of the most popular Elomi styles. It creates an amazing shape under clothing along with lots of lift. The unlined design makes it feel extremely light on the body. The low center front makes this plunge bra easy to wear under pretty much anything but doesn’t add a push up effect for larger cup sizes. The bra can be converted to a racerback with the J-hook feature.
The Kiss version features the same traditional seaming and subtle embroidery as the regular Matilda bra, except this time the embroidery is lines of pink shimmering hearts instead of round dots. The base is sheer black. It is both chic and fun. I love how the Matilda is a fashion bra that really does work as an everyday bra. I think this is a great offering for Valentine’s Day, but also a fun version of this classic that can be worn throughout the year by someone who wants a little more color in their lingerie drawer.
