Be Dazzled ~ Taryn Winters

A little sparkle goes a long way, at least in the case of lingerie designer Taryn Winters, whose sequin bra design (see image at bottom of this post) caught my attention and stopped me in my tracks while scrolling through Instagram.  I love when discoveries like this happen!  Granted, just because Taryn Winters is new to me, does not mean she’s a new discovery to Ellen Lewis, who had the pleasure of seeing the brand in person at this past Summer’s Lingerie Selection.  Fairly new to the lingerie scene, Taryn Winters is a New York designer whose work is heavily influenced by the world of ballet costumes and her background as a dancer.  A graduate of Fashion Institute of Technology Winters has developed a unique style that is distinguished by her beadwork and many of her bespoke pieces (follow her on Instagram at @taryn_winters for a look at those custom pieces).  This luxury brand represents a wide spectrum of prices, ranging from its Kharis bodysuit at $135 to its Colette babydoll for $750 (due to its hand-applique French lace and embroidery).

The images shown here are just the beginning for Taryn Winters, who will be unveiling her next season this February at the Lingerie Selection.  We eagerly anticipate what’s next!
