A Mother’s Love ~ Christine Vancouver

My mother was a warm, selfless and strong woman whose standard for correct behavior was off the scales.  She had an excellent eye for quality, a fine tuned ear for integrity and a keen understanding of value.  A few days ago, my brother reminded me that we–including my sister-had a bit of Toledo, Ohio in each of us.   How could we not deny that influence on our DNA?   She was, however, a bit too conservative for my taste.  She was always trying to get me to set a “proper table” and I was always trying to get her to “step it up a bit”.  My mom has been gone for over 20 years, but if she was here this Mother’s Day, I would love to buy her a caftan from the Christine Vancouver Shiva collection even though my personal choice would be the best-selling maxi dress.  These designs are a perfect combination of elegance, practicality and classic taste.  Dynamic prints in vibrant colors add just the right amount of flair to classic shapes.  With this loungewear I would have satisfied both our visions of a perfect gift.      inquiries:  christine@christinevancouver.com
