CurveNY~ Luxury Re-emerges

Rejuvenation of luxury market brands at CurveNY ~ Olivia Von Halle, Naked Princess & Jane Woolrich.

CurveNY is always an education and Day One at the show did not disappoint.  I remained disciplined, for once, navigating the entire exhibit to gain an overview before getting pulled in to any booths by vendors wanting to preview their Spring 2013 product.  There will be much to report, but for me, the first pass was all about the rejuvenation of luxury market brands, some from our friends across the pond and others made right here in the USA.  I was impressed by the excellent tailoring details found in Olivia Von Halle’s silk pajama styles, the exquisite use of lace anchoring the Naked Princess collection and the always beautiful handwork rendered in Jane Woolrich‘s designs.
