The Next New Thing ~ Pretty Polly Lingerie

Several months ago my industry colleagues from Easton International asked me to review the merchandising boards for the British based Pretty Polly Lingerie collection targeted to launch at Curve this August.  I always check out new directions and this one really intrigues me because of my prior history as a legwear buyer.  Pretty Polly is a mega hosiery force in the UK, with a 100 year heritage of quality leg dressing accessible to every woman.

I learned that this intimate incarnation is being driven by a highly skilled development and production team originally trained under the egis of the renowned Courtauld’s group, experts in fabric and print innovation. This and the dynamic presentation of colorful, flirty bras and panties designed with an edgy British aesthetic leads me to believe that this engine is running on all cylinders. Staying in step with the Pretty Polly hosiery DNA, the mission of the Intimates initiative is to create trends that become the next new thing.  If they are as successful as they have been with their fashion legwear- their signature faux suspender tights are a global sensation- they will surely take the North American Lingerie market by storm.
