Moments of Beauty ~ Marie Jo L’Aventure
I am back in Cabo San Lucas now and have been missing October in New York and the dramatic bounty of color that transforms this region at this time of year. The vital palette of the northeastern autumn landscape is one of the most beautiful sites on earth. I was driving home a few days ago, lamenting the heat and humidity (the weather here has not turned temperate yet) when I realized that the desert, still drenched from the seasonal rains, was a cornucopia of rich vegetation, startling cacti, exploding flowers, flotillas of butterflies; a green oasis whose lifespan would be short and spectacular. Soon the cooler, dry air will parch this coastline returning it to its everyday sand stone wardrobe. Luscious detail will evaporate with the sun. I got out of the car to capture the moment, because sometimes it’s worth investing in novelty, just for the experience.
This made me re-think my blog today. I was very set on highlighting the Marie Jo L’Aventure Bob collection, specifically in black. I saw it last January in Paris and was taken by the elegant way this bra and panty set captured the influence of the bondage trend with such class. Sexy in black and pretty in glossy pink, I know it is already a best seller for Marie Jo fans. BUT, after I saw the desert in full bloom, I decided that the real story here is the luscious Fruits D’Automnes print, a fashion flash developed to spice up a basic product offer. Sized 30-40, A-F cups and XS-XXL panties, this print would be just plain fun to wear. Sometimes you need to take a break from daily essentials to experience a brief interlude into life’s artistry.
