It is said that some things get better with age. Having officially entered the era of social security and senior discounts, I must say that I agree. There are women who fight the milestones of maturing. I think that fine lines and a morphing shape mark my journey. Sure, I wouldn’t mind some of the youthful camouflage that once empowered my self-image but time has gifted me the wisdom to know that when all is said and done, it’s what’s inside that counts. I do not think about the years. I think about the opportunities I still have and the expertise that experience has bequeathed.
I just hope I live as healthy a life as the esteemed Prima Donna brand has, although clearly, I will never reach their illustrious 2015 milestone. Prima Donna turns 150 years old this year. In retrospect, I wish I had met this renowned lingerie maker in my youth. As a busty woman, their bras would have changed my much younger self-image. Being fit in my first Prima Donna bra was equivalent to finding body mecca; a great weight lifted from my shoulders. It is the technical expertise that sets these bras apart and defines the company’s character. After visiting their Belgium headquarters, I can personally attest to the depth of research, development and testing that guides Prima Donna’s design and production standards. To commemorate their anniversary they have introduced the DELIGHT Collection, launching now in black, with blue and rose delivering early spring. The three part bra, available in 30-46 bands, F- I cups, is delicately embroidered with mat gold and Swarovski beads. Luxurious comfort, DELIGHT is a jewel in their crown and a testimony to their legacy.

…….I do not think about the years, I think about the opportunities I still have………
THAT is my new motto.
Thank you for sharing this post and for reminding some of us that is not about the number of years we have left, it is about what we do with them!
