Refresh! Body By Skin

I am back in the Northeast. Paris and Curve beckon. It’s cold. Snow is forecast for NY for the first time this winter and a blanket of grey hovers heavily over the entire stratosphere. It’s a far cry from Cabo San Lucas, but I don’t mind. Priorities shift. Energy accelerates (how could it not in New York City). And, best of all, my grandson, the new love of my life, is back in my purview. Re-charging is all about change, re-alignment, and clearer perspective after stepping back. It makes the everyday feel new again and keeps our perceptions current.

Transition is the very fodder of progress. That is why, in my opinion, Skin Lingerie has built such a successful brand. This time it’s their new Body by Skin collection launching globally as I write. Constructed in organic cotton and tulle with a touch of Lycra, these pieces transform logo underwear to a whole new level. Designer (and owner) Susan Beischel’s prophetic hand is evident as she combines delicate details with her soft, light signature fabrics creating functional styles with feminine attitude. In her ongoing mission to create intelligent fashion, Susan has refreshed and elevated a category of intimates that has lived for some time now in a pool of boring basics.  It’s nice to come home to vision.
