I met Erica Young several years ago at the Salon de Lingerie in Paris. She was showcasing her legwear line and when I passed her stand, I stopped dead in my tracks. As an x-Hosiery buyer, I was stunned at the creativity and imagination in Erica’s tights. Apparently I was not alone. Some time later, Beyoncé discovered and subsequently met Erica. Wearing her legwear on stage as well as in her personal wardrobe, she thrust Erica M. New York into the fashion limelight.
