Man Sporting ~ Saxx Underwear

I know that espousing about a man’s needs is counter intuitive in our quest, as lingerie aficionados, to promulgate the philosophy of woman’s lingerie. But, once in a while accepted credos need to be challenged. That’s why, despite the retailer’s constant quest to control inventory, I must make a case for buying Saxx Underwear; this time their award winning kinetic running shorts.  I have already reported in prior Saxx blogs that my husband, who believes that he can dress himself from Costco, has become an unequivocal Saxx fan. Initially resistant to the concept, as well as the price, he found that wearing this underwear with its 3D ergo dynamic construction under his gym shorts was the perfect answer for comfort and support while working out. Apparently he was not alone. After learning from some run specialty shops that men were cutting the liners out of their run shorts and replacing those with the Saxx kinetic boxers and briefs, the brand decided to venture into the sports short business.  Constructed with the exact same fit (S-XXL), patented Ballpark Pouch™, and stretch micro-mesh anti-microbial fabric integrated into these athletic shorts, they have become a big retail success. Runners World just gave them their “Gear of the Year” award.   I would not be surprised if this technology will lead them into swimwear.

I expect that this blog won’t garner the response that our regular lingerie briefs do. BUT, if I had a store, I would carry this brand because, it often takes a woman to convince a man to step outside of the box. And when the result is so positive, as it was with my husband; well, that is the best gift of all. What a great way to say Happy Father’s Day.
