It should come as no surprise that I truly appreciate a good photo campaign when it comes to enjoying a lingerie brand. In fact, it’s often the first step in grabbing my attention, and I highly value the way it sets the tone and feel for what the designer is intending to convey. The posts I create for this Gallery are all driven by beautiful images; editorial-style campaigns that make me feel and want! That being said, I thought I’d take the opportunity to shine the spotlight on the photographer, rather than a particular label.
The photographer being featured on today’s post is the young French talent Jean-Philippe Lebée. His style is elegant and sensual, and influenced by his initial studies in cinema. In recent years he has been selected by top French lingerie brands such as Simone Pérèle and Ysé to capture their campaign images. You can identify his work from its subtle colors, and the soft refinement of the women he uses as his subjects.
