Interfilère in a Changing World ~ A Virtual Digital Victory
By ELLEN LEWIS
The most inspirational part of my market travels to Paris has always been the Interfilère Exposition where I school myself in fabric innovations and color direction. Forums showcasing macro-trends impacting lingerie design and development provide critical information impacting the creative process. The energy of the Fair refuels my research. It is where brands draw their design ideas. It speaks to the future of the Lingerie market.
This season was different. No travel, no fairs, no touch, no feel, no interaction. Every trade show was virtual. In this new reality, I found the webinars particularly informative. Without a doubt, those conducted by Jos Berry, Founder and CEO of Concepts Paris were at the top of my list, particularly her visual presentations. Obviously, I could not peruse the collections and photograph at will. But I was able to screen shot some key messages. Highlighted below are a few that I captured as communicated by Jos. Personally, I would take advantage of the Interfilière online offer (gratis) and check out the webinar links.
