I’ve been following the Shell Belle Couture Lingerie brand ever since its inception in 2010. Tantalized by the extraordinary workmanship of founder and artist Michelle Blenkinsopp-Guild, I always check out her new collections. This year, it’s the Forbidden story, inspired by the heroines of the Silk Road and the luxuries once only afforded to nobility. Designed in sandwashed silk these pieces are intricately detailed with French appliqué laces and silk lacing, a vision of casual opulence.  Seductive and sumptuous, they are examples of Michelle’s vision that one should “Buy Once, Buy Well”.  The Forbidden collection is perfect for a brides boudoir.
