There is so much creativity embedded in the Italian character that it stands to reason that lingerie and loungewear follow suit. I used to shop in Italy during my lingerie merchandising career for inspiration and, admittedly, samples. The extraordinary ingenuity and technical expertise amazed me. The dedication to manufacturing perfection found in many family-owned studios convinced me of the quality and value inherent in these products.

Recently, I took a close look at the Italian intimate collections of Verdiani and Madiva, both of which confirmed my respect for the genius of Italian design.
