No Comment: Radically-Comfortable Bodysuits from Paris

By ESTELLE PULESTON

No Comment bodywear and lingerie as featured on Lingerie BriefsBased in Paris, No Comment is a lingerie-adjacent line of bodysuits built around absolute comfort, for women who want to feel beautiful and free at the same time.

That means no pressure points, no underwires. No rigid fabrics – just soft, stretchy ones that move with the body and eliminate pulling, even if you have a long torso. And definitely no snap fasteners that might dig in. (Instead, No Comment bodysuits are more than stretchy enough to be pulled to the side when nature calls).

No Comment bodywear and lingerie as featured on Lingerie BriefsThe brand was established in 2024 by Kristen Naman, a filmmaker who, at 42, decided to turn her hand to fashion design to fix her frustration with uncomfortable bodysuits. She believes the humble bodysuit is an essential base garment around which you can build all manner of outfits.

It’s one of the few pieces that genuinely disappears into an outfit while still being the reason the outfit works”, she explains, “It smooths, it stays in place… It’s doing quiet structural work, giving the whole look a clean foundation that a regular shirt or t-shirt rarely provides.”

Under a smart blazer, that smooth base layer adds extra polish. Under a long and fluid skirt, a well-chosen bodysuit becomes almost invisible allowing the skirt to do all the talking. Naman’s own personal uniform revolves around worn-in Levi’s, cowboy boots, and a bodysuit that completes the outfit without competing for attention.

French fashion is all about effortlessness, and a simple, timeless bodysuit you can wear with practically anything really epitomizes that. But it only works if it doesn’t need constant readjusting, so you can truly forget about it.

That’s why she designs for a customer just like herself: something who’s probably in the 35+ age bracket, long enough to have spent years accommodating discomfort in pursuit of style. And who’s now grown tired of wearing things that hurt just because they were beautiful, instead recognizing the benefit of investing in considered design and proper quality.

No Comment bodywear and lingerie as featured on Lingerie BriefsThe No Comment collection includes a handful of pieces that feel like they could be worn purely as underwear if that’s what you prefer, in fabrics such as sheer lace and featuring details such as narrow straps and curve-enhancing ruching at the rear. Many of them, however, are more overtly suited to outerwear styling, with opaque fabrics, long sleeves and striking details such as fringing and off-shoulder cuts.

Tentation is a tank-inspired bodysuit in sheer, viscose-based lace which, Naman says, offers genuine hold even for larger bust sizes, so you can skip the bra below if you’re all about feeling unrestricted. Romance is completely different though no less freeing: a voluminous balloon of cotton fabric, elasticated around the edges and at the waist, which offers a softer, more bohemian vibe.

Other designs that caught my eye include Fauve with its button-down front, Étreinte with its cozy fleece turtleneck and long sleeves (a perfect layering piece for winter), and Lebodi Versatile with its open back and changeable neckline that can be worn on or off the shoulder. Adding to their innate versatility, some styles’ product descriptions even note that they can be worn as a swimsuit!

No Comment bodywear and lingerie as featured on Lingerie BriefsThe No Comment size range runs from French 36-46 or XS-2XL, and products are priced from 99-160€, approximately $115-185.
