I think I’m starting to see the light at the other end of the tunnel….  Although, I still have several “market week” appointments this week.  We should just start calling it Market Month!

The Lingerie Designer Showcase and CurveNY were a success.  Buyers from around the world attended the trade shows and other industry related events.  Now, Curve is headed West…  CURVENV runs from August 21^st through the 23^rd at The Venetian in Las Vegas.  Guests can register at www.curvexpo.com.

Jenny Altman and Danielle Black from ILOVEAGOOD hosted a Press Preview of Chantelle’s Fall/Winter 2012 Collection last Wednesday.  The Intimate Affair was held at the brand’s NY Showroom on Madison Ave and included cocktails, professional bra fittings and gift bags.  The Intimate Affair was very elegant and the latest Chantelle collection is to die for.  Although we see jewel tones in store every Fall, these “gem” colors seem fresh and new.  Several pieces are on the top of my latest “Lust List.”

Fashion’s Night Out is scheduled for September 6^th.  Last year, I took myself on a Lingerie Tour of SoHo for Fashion’s Night Out including stops at Kiki de Montparnasse, Agent Provocateur, Journelle, La Perla and Bloomie’s on Broadway.  It was a fabulous night loaded with lingerie.  This year, I will likely be spending the evening at Macy’s at Herald Square.  Anyone planning a Fashion’s Night Out Event?  Let us know so we can spread the word here on Lingerie Briefs!

Some of you may be interested in Small Boutique Fashion Week which is dedicated to the small scale buying and selling community.  The SBFW2012 Fashion Show and Market is geared towards small business owners, emerging designers, and novelty designers that are looking to get their start by selling to small boutiques and unique shops.  This edition will be held on Saturday, September 8^th at The Metropolitan Pavilion and will feature three separate showcases at 12pm, 4pm and 8pm.  For more information:  www.smallboutiquefw.com.
