Revelation ~ Simone Pérèle

Last fall when Simone Pérèle introduced Révélation to the market, I thought it was an interesting premise, interesting enough to actually write a story about this sumptuous intimate’s collection.  This is the company’s first foray into lingerie sized specifically for a full busted woman.  I thought it noteworthy that this brand, so quintessentially French in its intent, had finally found a voice for the full busted woman.  On a personal note, it has always been frustrating to be excluded from the exclusive design culture that so well defines the Simone Pérèle aesthetic.  With the Révélation styles, a combination of embroidered tulle, guipure, and bows camouflages an infrastructure engineered to support sizes 30 – 46, C – H cups.  Wearing it feels great. My 28 year old daughter walked in the room while I was trying on the navy and light blue combination and said:  “You have to write about that bra; it looks amazing on you.”   So I am breaking my writing code and repeating myself.  It’s one thing to reveal beautiful product, but when it performs on all cylinders, it’s actually worth a second take.
