Moments of Zen ~ Asceno

Saturday morning, in the aftermath of the tropical storm that hit Cabo on Friday, I went horseback riding in the desert with some of my barn friends. It was drizzling; the sun trying desperately to break through. We trotted in a silent tableau of sand, sky and cacti, the rain misting our vision; invigorating and Zen-like. It was the scent of the wet desert, though; floral, moist and breezy, that set the memory for me. Embraced by that essence, I would have liked to have bottled it. I will forever recall the joy of just being there.

To feel so alive in the moment is, in my opinion, the purest form of luxury. It is the same sensation I have when I discover a product that is unique, captures my attention and lifts me from the mundane.  Each time I look at Asceno’s beautifully cultivated silk sandwash lounge and beachwear line, I am taken by the clarity of design.  The superbly articulated prints form a landscape of color that transforms these intimates into works of art. The elegant, loose fitting cut of each lounge piece, coupled with the dynamic patterns promises an experience of easy comfort and modern elegance. The richness of creative vision sets this brand apart from so many others competing in this venue.   I wonder if wearing an Asceno style would emulate the same pleasure I felt soaking wet on the back of a galloping mare.
