Home Sweet Home. I landed in New York Friday night (or should I say Saturday morning) to a mega traffic jam at LaGuardia. One would have thought it was high noon. No big deal, because my daughter and grandson were waiting for me. I knew this little boy would be there; the pot of gold at the end of my Cabo rainbow. I didn’t really need any other perk to boost my mood on re-entry from calm to crazy. He’s the perfect remedy.

So imagine my surprise to discover a Lingerie Landmark at my door when I finally arrived home: two WireFree bras from Curvy Couture™, that they wanted me to try. I wore the new Flawless WireFree Contour Bra on Saturday followed by the Cotton Luxe Unlined WireFree Bra on Sunday. I fell in love with both for their incredible comfort, but especially because of the unexpected support they provided through two marathon days with a very spirited 3 year old. These styles are a large cup breakthrough, sizes 34-44, C-H cups. It’s summer; classic timing for underwire fatigue, particularly for larger breasted women who usually have no alternative if they want to appear lifted in their light weight t-shirts. I wish I had had these bras with me in Mexico.

As a merchant with deep anchors in the Intimates market, I am dead-eyed focused on identifying lingerie that sells and has gross margin potential. This is personal; it’s true. But, there are many women out there with the same bra conundrum as me. Just saying; when a brand unlocks the combination, retailers (and consumers) should take note.
