A Bra to Remember ~ LOU Stripes

Lou Paris Lingerie on Lingerie Briefs

A couple of weeks ago, my husband flew back to New York for some family business and found a package waiting for me at home.  It was two bras from the LOU Lingerie Stripes collection: the spacer (32237) and the unlined moulded cup (42237), both members of the brand essentials.  In any case, he decided to bring them here when he returned.  I thought he was crazy, particularly because he jokes about the size of my bra wardrobe.  Bra comfort, being the lifelong challenge it has been for me as a larger busted woman, has insured that I own more bras than clothes. But, of course, I tried them on. As a result, I am deviating from my established editorial schedule to sing their praises, in particular the moulded cup style pictured here.  Why?  I am “in love”; I barely feel it on my body.  The relief of being supported – and by the way, subtly minimized – without compromising lift during the hot Cabo afternoons is priceless.  The soft, rounded shape is particularly applicable under the lightweight t-shirts and sundresses to which I am partial. Fitting 32-42, B-G cups, these styles perfectly capture the LOU Aesthetic (and mine). They are sleek functional designs with a very modern appeal. Understated sophisticated details including a graphic touch of striped tulle, delicate guipure and luxury fabrics elevate these bras to an instant fashion statement. The combination of LOU’s engineering acumen and innovative construction has enabled LOU to bring French chic to everyday living. I am particularly pleased that Stripes is part of the brand’s basic coterie because, frankly, this affair is not an infatuation.
