Olivia von Halle is one of those brands that raise the bar each season, creating luxe loungewear collections that are consistently paired with decadent campaign images. This season’s Pagoda Motel Collection is no exception, with its exotic, bold prints and colors presented in an avant-garde setting. The current campaign is described by the brand as “Familiar yet unknown; it has a dreamlike quality. Within it, three heroines at the centre of a mysterious drama captivate their audience. Yet, they are indifferent. They are uninhibited. They are Galliano’s 90s Geishas, on acid.”
For the past 7 years Olivia von Halle has been creating chic pajamas and robes for her eponymous label, with its most identifiable style being the classic Coco Chanel-inspired silk PJ set. The Coco set is still offered, and gets reinvented each season with eye-catching prints; this time it’s the prowling tiger print (amongst other color and pattern options), last year it was killer sharks. There is also a silk-cashmere tracksuit style in the mix, which is cut in an oversized silhouette that lends itself to an incredibly luxurious drape. At roughly $1,240 per tracksuit, it’s an indulgence that seems wildly reasonable (it is silk mixed with cashmere, after all).
