I am constantly amazed at what Halloween has become in the United States. Two days ago I was in Ricky’s, the edgy New York cosmetic and accessory chain and the entire store was converted to a costume hub. Forget about buying shampoo. Last week at Costco, racks of kiddy costumes had usurped the apparel aisles. In the malls Pop Up stores are bedecked with orange and black paraphernalia.
