All That Glitters ~ Gold Lingerie

The other night, I watched the Netflix movie, “Woman In Gold” , the story of Maria Altmann’s late life struggle to recover the Gustav Klimt painting that was rightfully her family’s property. The portrait of Adele Bloch Bauer had been stolen by the Nazis during WWII along with many other valuables. Klimts elegant use of gold leaf, most widely recognized in this brilliant mosaic was the highlight of his golden phase. After watching the movie, I began to  search for exquisite use of gold in lingerie and art collecting some of the images below.
