It is no secret that I am a full-fledged Evelyn & Bobbie fan.  But this isn’t news to our readers. I’ve touted the brand almost since inception. Their wirefree bras have changed my 36G (sometimes H) life. However, although I doubt it, I could be an outlier. So, I decided to go to the front lines to find out. I asked Bree McKeen (CEO and founder) to connect me with several of her loyal customers for a reality check. I chatted with six ladies across the USA, all of whom validated my point of view.  Full disclosure, I secured these names through positive web-site testimonials. But truthfully, negative comments were nowhere to be found.

I found  Annette while she was hiking in Yellowstone Park. A 60-year-old retired Chemical Engineer from Oregon, she has gone from a desk job to a very active lifestyle pursuing her photography, glassmaking and volunteering interests. At 5’ tall her vacillating weight combined with her 34-38 DD breasts; she needs serious support. But it was a 2019 mammogram that revealed a thickening of the underline of her breast that ultimately led her (through social media) to the Evelyn & Bobbie Defy Bra. She told me:

I hate to admit it, but I probably spent $1,000 finding a wireless bra. I went to all the well-known brands and many companies who are also trying to fill this need. I was skeptical of EB at first–I wondered how I could get a good fit with no adjustable straps or bands. I decided to take a risk, and it paid off!”

Diane is a 65-year young woman from Greenwood Lake, NY. At 5’1’ and size 4, she has 34 G cup breasts. She claims that she wasn’t really wearing her bras; they were wearing her. She couldn’t wait to rip them off. She discovered the brand on QVC and initially questioned the expense, but frustrated with her search, she decided to try the Beyond Bra and has never looked back.

“These bras have literally been life changing. Bree is a genius disrupter to the bra industry. I have no need for any other bra on the market. I currently own 4 EB bras and told my cousin about these bras, and she now owns 4 too.”

“I can’t tell you how many wire-free bras I have tried – I have clicked on every ad campaign and Instagram post. Most are, at best, okay to wear around the house but certainly not out in public. This bra changes the game! It is so comfortable; it fits so well and has enough support to wear anywhere. It’s so smooth so it works great under work attire with no bulging!”

Tonya hails from Georgia. At 56 she wears a size 1X-2X and a 40DD. A customer service manager, she is on her feet for up to 12 hours a day. She googled ‘top rated bras for bigger busted ladies’ and Voila! Evelyn & Bobbie popped onto her screen. “When I realized that they were wire-free I thought there’s no way this’ll work. I couldn’t have been more wrong.” She ordered a couple and told me that it’s been a love affair from the start. Her favorite is Evelyn. She tells me that she only wears underwire bras when her E&B bras are in the wash.

Janis is a 67-year-old resident of Washington state. A 38DD she actually discovered the brand during the initial designing stages. Her great niece, who was one of Bree’s size models, introduced her to the bras in 2020. She raves about the company’s communication skills as she had to go back and forth for awhile to find the best fit. Her favorite is Evelyn but she owns a lot. She says:

“These are the most comfortable bras I have ever worn. I love them so much I have purchased around 30 of them.  I sing their praises to every one I know!”

Cheryl is 67 and wears a 36D bra. From Oklahoma City, she has suffered with back problems. She also complained to me about the shoulder divots she was experiencing in her underwire bras. She stopped wearing tight t-shirts because of nipple concerns. She states these issues don’t occur anymore. She raves about the breath of colors and is a fan of the Bobby Scoop, Defy and Beyond as well as the Cami top. Never having paid more than $40 for a bra, Cheryl says “I stepped up out of faith. Looks like it’s worth it.”
