Sterling Silk ~ Samantha Chang

My jewelry of choice has always been sterling silver. So living in Mexico, the largest silver producer in the world, suits my taste just fine. In order to invest intelligently, it is very important to understand that silver craftsmanship is an art form, and the way it is designed has as much effect on its value as the weight of the metal. Unless you are a dealer purchasing a commodity, shopping for silver requires an eye for fine handwork as well as anticipating the satisfaction it will bequest when wearing it. It is, for sure, a fashion statement, but if the look is right, it will add a layer of elegance to a woman’s demeanor.

This is always the case with Samantha Chang’s silk collections. Samantha is well respected for her ability to create sophisticated styles in this luxury fabric that is used worldwide by many lingerie brands. But it is her interpretation, which never fails to zero in on current trends, that elevates it to a place of unique design. This time it is these gorgeous underwire bra tops. Combining a delicate French Calais leavers’ lace with stretch silk and mesh, she has developed a contemporary interpretation of an age old silhouette. Bralettes, reinvented, are gaining key item status.  Available 32-36, B-D cups, the Coco and Lola bra tops are engineered to function as underpinnings intended to be an integral piece of a woman’s wardrobe. Both necklines are perfectly composed to showcase a beautiful piece of silver with great aplomb.
