Arí van Twillert: Conceptual Lingerie for the Eco-Conscious as featured on Lingerie Briefs

I first discovered Dutch lingerie (and jewelry) brand Arí van Twillert in December 2019, via the launch of its Water Drift collection. Made from black tulle embroidered with a colorful and ‘blocky’ pattern which reminded me somewhat of Tetris, I was instantly drawn to it based purely on aesthetics. It’s definitely unlike any lingerie embroidery I’ve seen before.

And there’s a reason for that, as I soon … Read More

For full-busted customers, the modern lingerie landscape looks nothing like it did in the early 2000s, and no one knows that better than Anna Lejwoda. She’s the co-founder and designer of Polish lingerie brand Avocouture by Avocado, which will soon be celebrating its 20th birthday.

Victoria Cimadevilla Luxury Swimwear as featured on Lingerie Briefs

Is it just me, or do most bikinis and swimsuits look the same? Colors and prints vary of course, but when shopping for swimwear, I find myself trawling through the same tired silhouettes over and over. I want something different, something eye-catchingly unique!

Pattricia A. Garde lingerie and ready-to-wear as featured on Lingerie BriefsFor fans of the lingerie-as-outerwear trend, Pattricia A. Garde is a gem of a brand. It was founded in 2015 by Teerawit Jenwitthayachai, who, after studying fashion design in both Bangkok and Paris, discovered she couldn’t find any bras she liked after returning to Thailand. So she set out to design some herself!

Miss Vivienne Lingerie Astra Collection as featured on Lingerie Briefs

Somewhere up near the top of my current lingerie wishlist is a set by Miss Vivienne, a small Scottish brand created by Vivienne Lynch. Launched in 2017 right after she completed a fashion degree, this indie label has since grown into a small team of four people who still create everything in house and on a made-to-order basis, in line with the brand’s ethos for ethical … Read More

Jordan de Ruiter lingerie as featured on Lingerie Briefs

Fabulously fun and floral, Jordan de Ruiter is a Canada-based lingerie and special occasion wear brand after my own heart. Her aesthetic is distinctively whimsical: from triangle bralettes to cupless corsets for layering over outerwear, to, most recently, Bridgerton-inspired ‘short stay’ bra tops, her pieces are perfectly on-trend while also feeling instantly recognizable as belonging to her brand.
